From Baths to Antiperspirants: Navigating Skincare Routines Through Childhood and Adolescence

    Our skin is the largest organ, the first line of defense of our immune system, so it's undoubtedly crucial to value and take care of its cleanliness and protection. When the skin is injured or wounded, that area becomes vulnerable to bacteria and other pathogens. Moreover, the result of bacteria accumulation on the skin is body odor, and it can even cause skin diseases. Both of these are undesirable, hence both adults and children need appropriate skincare routines:

    • It's necessary to bathe at least once a day. Around the age of 7-8, due to water conservation reasons, you can switch to showers, which they can already do independently. If needed, they can shower before or after school, as well as after outdoor play or sports activities.
