Therefore, before starting to investigate the cause of the conflict, it is essential for everyone involved to emotionally reach a state where they can think rationally and clearly; otherwise, the situation might escalate and worsen. Adults can help children identify their emotions, and visual aids (such as an emotion thermometer) can be useful for this purpose. Remember, addressing emotions is the first step; without clarity on them, finding a solution can be difficult or even impossible.
